The space

This air-conditioned modern-chic stylish apartment in La Cala de Mijas, with sun terrace, is located in the brand new complex of Casa Banderas.

The self-catering tranquil apartment features 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with the master en-suite, open-plan modern kitchen, a lovely spacious living room and ample sun-drenched terrace affording scenic views of the entire area, pool, garden, mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

The modern integrated open-plan kitchen offers a Nespresso coffee capsule machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine.

The lounge offers internal dining for 6x people and a comfy sofa to watch TV. You have access to unlimited 600mb speed Fibre Optic WiFi throughout the property, to stay connected and for streaming on your devices.

The master bedroom has a 160cms King size bed and also features an exclusive desk with comfy chair, for people who wish to catch-up on work, or need a private area to browse the web on their laptop or tablet. Direct access to the private en-suite bathroom with walk-through wardrobes with drawers. The shower has been upgraded to a rain shower with powerful massage jets.

The second bedroom also has another 160cms King size bed and the third bedroom offers 2x 105cms oversized single beds, for the best comfort and sleep. Both have access to the shared family shower bathroom.

The terrace is fully furnished to a high standard, and overlooks the garden and one of the communal pools with direct access via stairs or lift. Shade is offered with the professional retractable sun awning.

This property benefits from private secure internal parking, just steps from the apartment entrance, on the same level. Another big plus for people wanting to stroll into town, is that this property is adjacent to the lower access road, giving direct access via a secure bottom gate and cutting out the larger top access hill.

Guests can relax in the wonderful secure & manicured private community gardens, inside the chill-out social area and around the 3 beautiful pool areas at the property. Sports enthusiasts can exercise in the well appointed gym. After training, guests can also have access to the SPA area, featuring a large sauna and jacuzzi. Also access to BBQ’s, Padel Tennis court, children’s park and an outdoor exercise gym area.

The famous coastal village of La Cala de Mijas is just a few minutes drive away, which can be walked in around 15 minutes from the property. Guests will also find several golf courses within 5 minutes drive, all with attractive modern clubhouse restaurants, open daily for everyone, and offering delicious food and a great choice of refreshments.

Diverse activities are possible including surfing, jetskiing, climbing, having fun at the Water Park and much more.

Guest access

Guests will have access of the entire apartment, selection of 3 swimming pools, plus complimentary access to the SPA & gym area (consisting of a sauna & jacuzzi, plus fully equipped gymnasium and showers), and also the pool chill-out social club area. Access also to the Padel Tennis court, children’s park and outdoor exercise gym area.

La Cala de Mijas village is easily accessible, offering a diverse selection of restaurants, bars, banks, supermarkets, car rental, beach chiringuitos, beach wooden boardwalk to Cabopino, golf course etc. La Cala offers everything you need to enjoy your holiday to the maximum, and offers easy transport links to Málaga, Fuengirola, Mijas, Benalmádena Pueblo, Marbella, Estepona & Gibraltar.

La Cala de Mijas is situated in the centre of the golf valley, with many golf courses accessible within a 10 minutes drive.

Other things to note

Please note that this apartment is in a fantastic privileged location, although it is a good slight downhill 10 minute walk, in order to reach the local amenities. Of course it only takes less than 2-3 minutes by rental car, or taxi, to La Cala de Mijas.

Please note that we allow late arrivals after 8pm during the week, and also weekend arrivals for a small surcharge. We charge a standard meet and greet fee of 25.00€ at the handing of the keys for all arrivals from 8pm to 11pm and during the weekend. Arrivals after 8pm during the weekend, and after 11pm during the week, will be charged 40.00€, paid locally on arrival.

The centre of Málaga is 45 km from the apartment. The nearest airport is Málaga International Airport, 38 km from the property.

Great views of La Cala de Mijas & La Noria golf course for golfers and only a short distance from the local beach, the village of La Cala de Mijas & many other golf courses.

Strictly NO smoking and NO pets allowed. Beware of starting a careless fire! Prevention is better than cure.

The owner recommends that you take out adequate travel insurance before travelling. In case of accident occurring whilst at this holiday home is the responsibility of the holiday guest, not the owner or managing agent.

This property is disabled friendly. There is a lift in the apartment building along with ramps in the communal areas providing wheelchair access. The pool and gardens are also adapted for disabled and wheelchair access, and there is a disabled person chair lift at the local pool. This apartment is accessed from the 1st floor level, by means of a lift. Please note that this apartment hasn’t been adapted specifically for wheelchair users and you can’t access the bathrooms via wheelchair.

Once your booking has been confirmed / payment received (or at least in good time before your arrival) we will contact you to make arrangements to meet you at the property, or in the local town, La Cala de Mijas. You will be shown around the apartment with everything explained clearly by our local property managers (who speaks fluent English and Spanish!) and your questions about the local area / facilities can be answered. We want you to enjoy your holiday!

The property managers will be on hand to answer any questions or in case of any emergency or enquiry. Unlimited FREE Fibre Optic WiFi and multi-language TV is included in the rental price.

A rental car is recommended for this property as it is located approx 1km up a slight hill, by accessing the complex via the direct lower gate. Taxis are easily available from the Taxi Rank in the local village of La Cala de Mijas. Alternatively you can use the Uber, Bolt or Cabify apps.
